Description: A surrealist adaption, set in a Lake Tahoe 1940’s era hotel, The Maintenance Department roamed the aged hotel halls providing guests (read: attendees) with a plethora of one-off, pop-up experiences. The overarching event spanned a total of two day and over 500 attendees explored the hallways in search of clues regarding the mysterious disappearance of the hotel’s matriarch.
Role: Designed and executed multiple pop-up installations throughout the event. Organized a small group of performance artists for costumed role playing. Budgeting and accounting. Over aching artistic direction and narrative cohesion.
